What does AuditMyPage check?
We run 20+ checks on your page including title tag, meta description, Open Graph tags, Twitter Cards, HTTPS, structured data, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, page load time, heading hierarchy, image alt text, internal links, and privacy policy presence.
Is my data private when I run an audit?
Yes. We only fetch the publicly accessible HTML of the URL you provide. We don't store your source code, and audit results are only accessible via their unique URL. We don't share or sell any data.
Can I use this for client sites?
Absolutely. Many developers and agencies use AuditMyPage to audit client sites before launch. Results are shareable via URL, and you can generate privacy policies and terms of service for any business.
What if my score is very low?
Don't worry — most sites score between 40-70 on their first audit. Each check includes a specific suggestion on how to fix it. Focus on the Critical issues first, then Important, then Nice to have.
How is the AI-generated privacy policy different from a template?
Template generators use fill-in-the-blank forms that produce generic documents. Our AI generates a unique policy customized to your specific business, services, data collection practices, and jurisdictions. It names your actual third-party services (e.g., "Google Analytics" instead of "analytics providers").
Is the privacy policy legally binding?
The generated policy is professionally written and covers standard legal requirements (GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, COPPA). However, it's generated by AI and does not constitute legal advice. We recommend having a qualified attorney review it for your specific jurisdiction.
Why is the privacy policy free?
We're running a launch promotion. Privacy policies are normally $19 one-time, but they're free during the launch period. This won't last forever — generate yours while it's free.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can run audits and generate documents without any signup. We only ask for an email (optional) so we can send you a copy of your generated documents.
Can I re-run an audit after making fixes?
Yes. Use the "Re-audit" button on your results page, or simply enter the same URL on the homepage. Each audit creates a new result so you can compare before and after.
What formats do the generated documents come in?
Each generated document (privacy policy or terms of service) is available in Markdown and HTML formats. You can copy the raw text, download the HTML file, or embed it directly on your website.
